As such, the Switch version of the game is my primary version now. Whereas the Switch version, well, doesn't do that. Like the console thought it was overheating or something (but it isn't *actually* overheating so far as I can tell, and no other games I play on the system exhibit this issue). Specifically, it'd induce some manner of crash so severe my xbox would power all the way down, needing me to physically hit the button, and have it boot all the way back up again. AND afterwards! People still make tracks for Fusion, so I still fire Fusion up to check them out.Ī few weeks back something started happening that made Rising track-central totally unusable for me. Track Central is why I was playing Fusion multiple times a week from the moment it released, right up until Rising came out. Generally in Trials, it is the user-created tracks that give the long tail for me.

I have the game on Xbox One X, and Switch (because I just *had* to know). I'm still playing the game, but not in the way I'd have anticipated a few weeks back. You know what, Sheepinator, I'll join you in that one -) You don't get any rewards for playing them though. It's a great thing for the builders, although it shows again what a mess the map design is. They've started adding some TC tracks to the world map. This means I need to ration and manage this myself which is ridiculous.

I can't see more than 50 Favorites, and I read they now download your Favorites automatically, and of course other tracks you play, but I've also seen it mentioned there was (and probably still is) a limit to 100 there. The Track Central interface and general support is still bad. It's sad that many other aspects of the game could still be better.

I managed to get the Achievement for a Platinum in every continent, but I doubt I'll get a Diamond anywhere or get a Gold on those Extremes. The 4 Extremes are all quite challenging, definitely more so than most of the base games. I only tried the new skill games once, and I remember liking that lights out one. That's a lot of tracks, some very good ones there. On top of that, the innovative level design helps Trials Rising to become a top quality title like its predecessor.I've really enjoyed the new dlc. The developers did the right thing by removing unnecessary mechanics of the previous game and adding a training section to get the new players going. Trials Rising is the sequel everybody was waiting for. What matters here is that Trials Rising is a game with longevity and challenge. You’re going to get exactly what you expect from Rising, if you’re a Trials fan: crazy course design, a sense of RedLynx just trolling you, some reward, mostly despair but now with added loot boxes for you to open and basically be disappointed with, or not even remotely caring of, their contents. Trials Rising is infinitely better than Trials Fusion and feels like the proper sequel to Evolution.
